Emergency Care..

The Vermont Public Health Association believes when emergency care is needed it should be accessible, timely and of high quality. To ensure this the VtPHA supports:

• The availability of research based community injury prevention programs and other health promotion services
• Well-trained and appropriately certified response personnel
• Well-equipped and appropriately staffed emergency departments
• Adequate emergency transportation that is responsive to the rural nature of Vermont
