Global Climate Change

VtPHA joined APHA, ASTHO, NACCHO and Trust for America's Health in sending a letter to the Hill in anticipation of efforts to block EPA's efforts to address the health impacts of greenhouse gases which contribute to climate change. This mobilization of the public health community successfully stymied attempts to block EPA’s ability to regulate greenhouse gases by attaching riders to appropriations or other moving bills.
