Women’s health and the environment - News & Media Releases

VtPHA has been partnering with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) on issues related to women’s health and the environment. Our first victory was the passing of S. 247 by the Vermont Legislature which will phase out BPA in reusable food and beverage containers and in the plastic containers, jars or cans that store infant formula or baby food, in favor of safer alternatives. Next on the PPNNE agenda is safer personal care products for women in collaboration with Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.
